Does ironing give you an adrenaline pumping thrill?
Yeah, me neither.
The ironing board isn't something you get out when guests come over. Sometimes it's the only time it gets put away.
So there it stands unfolded in all it's utilitarian splendor. Mocking everything you did to make the room look and feel perfect. So what can you do to ease this decor cluttering eye sore?

Make it easier to put away with a hide away ironing board cabinet. There are so many to choose from and they install easily, though some require and electrical hook up, like this one we installed in a farmhouse addition.
We installed it in a large closet which really gets it out of the way.
You can also buy kits or whole cabinets with one built into a drawer. Just pull the drawer open and it folds out automatically.
Push the drawer in and it's gone with one motion. Ben and I used KraftMaid cabinets in this finished basement laundry.

You can love seeing it on the wall. Your ironing board can be a beautiful part of your decor!
Just some simple hooks and a beautiful cover can do the trick for pocket change and just a little effort.
Here's a couple examples of furniture with an ironing board on top. They both have wheels. It's nice to be ready to roll.
